On October 14th 2009, three persons from Guang Zhou Institute of Engery Conversion, Chinese Academy of Sciences (GIEC) visited TAES, who are vice director of GIEC Ma Longlong, vice director of Science and Technology Division Jiang Yang, director of biomass engergy center, Dr. Wang Tiejun, accompanied by Dr. Chen Guanyi. Dean of School of Environmental Science and Technology, Tianjin University. President Xie Huasheng, vice President Kou Wen, deputy chief-engineer Yang Yong of TAES attended the meeting.
Two sides conducted deep comminication in low-carbon engery, biomass energy, energy strategy and environmental protection technology, and discussed the possibility of cooperation in above fields.
This meeting promotes mutual understanding between TAES and GIEC, and also makes a way to carry out substantive cooperation in the fields of low-carbon energy and energy stategy.
